A Bahamian people over-taxed!

The Commonwealth of the Bahamas is a gorgeous place full of history, heritage, culture and beautiful people. Perhaps I can be viewed as bias; nonetheless, I will say that it is one of the most gorgeous vacation spots on the planet. However; the best of what the country has to offer, is experienced primarily by foreigners, and not so must by the natives.

For the past three decades, the people of the Bahamas have consistently been economically robbed, raped, and exploited by its own government. More and more of the citizens are pushed further into oppression and depression by the governing body's lack of ideas, lack of respect for democracy and lack of empathy toward poor-people's suffrage. At a time of a global pandemic, the only ideas the governing body was able to present to the people at a time of great suffrage, is for the to expect a near future tax increase.

This episode dives a little deeply into this. Thank you for listening.
