Colossians 1:10c - Growing up Spiritually
Continuing on in Colossians 1:10, in this study we talk about what it means to "grow in the knowledge of God". This is spiritual growth and maturity. Becoming all that God intends for us to be on this earth. New believers often struggle to understand how they can begin to GROW in their faith. The Apostle Paul fought, strove, and struggled to bring the Church to full maturity, seeing this as one of his main purposes on this earth.

Colossians 1:10a - My life to please Him
Our focus in this 11 minute Bible study is on Colossians 1:10. Paul's prayer is for them to understand God's will, "so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him.". In this video, we discuss three ways to know God's will: immersing ourselves in God's word, seeking Him through prayer, and being filled with the Spirit of God. We can find joy and contentment in living for God and in bearing fruit, increasing in knowledge of God, being strengthened with endurance and patience, and expressing gratitude to God as key aspects of living a worthy and pleasing life.

Colossians 1:5-6 - Gospel power to save us and to sanctify us
What is the Gospel, and what is its purpose? In this study we talk about what the Gospel is, what it isn't, and how God uses it in the world and in the Church. Did you know that the gospel has power to do more than save us from hell? It's true. The gospel is as powerful, useful, and necessary for the person who has believed for 60 years, as it is for the one who hears it for the first time. We are ALWAYS in need of the Gospel of Christ.

Colossians - Introduction
This is a quick, down to earth introduction and overview of Paul's epistle to the Colossians. In this Epistle, Paul greets a new church, which he has never personally visited, and addresses some troubling rumors that he has heard first hand from the founding Pastor of the Church, Epaphras. Both legalists and Pagan cultists are attempting to make inroads into the fledgling church, and lead new believers astray. This letter was written by the Apostle Paul while in prison, along with Ephesians and Philemon...and possibly Philippians.
