Podcast Overview

This space is a little sanctuary. Each week, I’ll share reflections on mindful living, compassionate self-care, and the ways we can bring more ease into our everyday lives. Some episodes will feel like sitting down with a friend over a cup of tea — gentle conversations about rest, compassion, and the seasons of our lives. Others will be more practical — short guided meditations, simple mindfulness tools, or journal prompts to help you connect more deeply with yourself. My hope is that each time you listen, you leave with something small but meaningful — a breath, an insight, a moment of calm

A recent visit to the Emergency Department with unexpected chest pain became a powerful reminder that our health is something we can never take for granted.

In this heartfelt episode, I reflect on what the experience taught me about listening to our bodies, accepting support from those who care about us, and navigating the changing seasons of life as women. Episode 32: When Your Body Whispers Before It Shouts

This week on A State of Grace Wellbeing Podcast, I’m sharing something deeply personal.

After a week of poor sleep, a migraine, and feeling unusually low in energy, I was reminded that I live with Persistent Depressive Disorder, a condition that is usually well managed but occasionally whispers for my attention. It’s easy to forget that even when we know all the wellbeing practices, we’re still human.

In this episode, I reflect on what it means to listen to our bodies before they have to shout. We explore the wisdom of slowing down, embracing winter as a season of rest, the importance of nourishing ourselves with warm foods, and why even a few moments of sunshine can support both our physical and emotional wellbeing.

If you’ve been feeling tired, flat, overwhelmed, or wondering why you’re not quite yourself, I hope this conversation reminds you to replace self-judgement with self-compassion.

Sometimes healing isn’t about doing more.

Sometimes it’s about listening.

Please note: In this episode, I share my personal experience of living with Persistent Depressive Disorder. My story is not intended as medical advice. If you’re struggling with your mental health, please reach out to your GP or a qualified mental health professional for support.

Thank you for joining me on this journey towards living with greater mindfulness, compassion, and grace.
