Die erste Woche im Ausland - Erfahrungen einer Begleitperson
Die meisten Lehrlinge absolvieren ihr Praktikum in einer kleinen Gruppe gemeinsam mit anderen Lehrlingen aus verschiedenen Berufen, Branchen und aus unterschiedlichen Betrieben. Sie kommen meist aus ganz Österreich und kennen einander vor Praktikumsbeginn nicht. Während der ersten Woche ist eine Begleitperson von IFA mit den Lehrlingen im Gastland. Sie reist mit ihnen gemeinsam an und unterstützt sie während der ersten Tage, um den Praktikumsaufenthalt erfolgreich zu starten. Eine dieser Begleitpersonen ist Charlotte Kirnbauer. Sie erzählt im Gespräch mit Susanne Klimmer, wie es dazu kam, dass sie Lehrlinge gern ins Ausland begleitet, was ihre Aufgaben sind, wie die erste Praktikumswoche verläuft, und worauf es in der ersten Woche ankommt.

Seit mehreren Jahren unterstützt und fördert die Wirtschaftskammer Niederösterreich bereits Auslandspraktika für Lehrlinge im europäischen Ausland. Wie es dazu kam, warum der Wirtschaftskammer die Auslandserfahrung der niederösterreichischen Lehrlinge so wichtig ist, welche Erfahrungen in den letzten Jahren gemacht wurden, und welche Rückmeldungen von den niederösterreichischen Lehrlingen und Lehrbetrieben kommen, erzählt Stefan Gratzl, Leiter der Abteilung Bildung in der Wirtschaftskammer Niederösterreich sowie Leiter der Lehrlingsstelle, in dieser Podcast-Folge.
