<p>Above The Mud, podcast intro video</p><p>Shalom!, friends!</p><p>So I’m very excited to announce a new podcast that my husband, Michael Keaton, I’m Batman, and I will be launching next week entitled, Above The Mud. </p><p>“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”</p><p>‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:2‬ ‭ESV‬‬</p><p>Since we live life forwards but understand it backwards, we’ll dare to share with all of you what we have learned in our 30 years of marriage, wrestling with God and each other. </p><p>We don’t know much, but we know we love you, so we have decided to make a podcast to share what God has taught us in and through our 30 year walk, together with Jesus. It’s been so far from perfect, so freakin far, but that’s the point and the mystery!! </p><p>In each approximately 15 minute episode we’ll be sharing insights, encouragement, wisdom, stories, songs, creative art, quotes, scripture, testimonies and more</p><p>So please join us, next Tuesday evening at 7 pm, as we air our first episode on The Attitude of Gratitude, just in time for Thanksgiving. </p><p>Shalom! to all and hope you will join us on this journey in God’s mighty, majestic and mysterious Kingdom together. </p><p>Shalom ! Shalom! </p><p>30 years =</p><p>262,980 hours</p><p>I’d call that a Master Class lol</p><p>God, in his powerful mercy and perfecting grace, is, in purest, creative fashion, fashioning us! </p><p>Sometimes it hurts, sometimes there is joy unspeakable and sometimes it’s just mundane and routine. Marriage is life walked together by two who have been joined into one. And the ideal of marriage is for those two to then be mysteriously reconciled to God our Father, through our Lord, Jesus Christ, and through the power of the Holy Spirit living in the two, now three. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:12 -</p><p>“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”</p><p>‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭4‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬</p><p>It’s us and God in co-production, and what we have found to be true is that God’s power, blessings and peace in our lives grows in direct proportion to our willingness to surrender. This certainly doesn’t mean we won’t suffer very painful and difficult things in this life ahead of eternity. We have and we still will.
