This podcast will reinterpret "A Course in Miracles" for seekers and activists committed to co-creating a more just world with room for everyone. Each episode will first of all review one of the 365 lessons found in the "Course in Miracles" workbook; it will then reinterpret the lesson from the viewpoint of the historical Jesus whose voice The Course claims as its own; finally we’ll discuss how the insights uncovered might relate to an issue of the day such as voting rights, the refugee crisis, endless wars, or police brutality. Occasionally, I’ll invite guests as well.
Here’s a simple reflection to put in perspective Lesson 15 of ACIM’s Workbook for Students. Please read the lesson first (here (https://acim.org/acim/lesson-15/my-thoughts-are-images-that-i-have-made/en/s/417)) then my reflection.

What does A Course in Miracles mean when it says "The world you see has nothing to do with reality. It is of your own making, and it does not exist.”

My Meaningless Thoughts Show Me a Meaningless World
Our thinking processes misguided by the world and our culture have us on a tragically wrong track about life’s purpose.

Episode 17, ACIM Lesson 10: "I See Nothing As It Is Now"
According to A Course in Miracles, no one is our enemy. No one is attacking us. There is really only one of us here. The Chinese, for instance (as I argue here) are our sisters and brothers. There is no distinction between them and us.

Episode 8: The World Will Call You Crazy for Embracing Jesus’ Truth
Episode 8 of "A Course in Miracles for Social Justice Warriors" examines the Introduction of ACIM's Workbook for Students. It connects Plato's "Parable of the Cave" with the way A Course in Miracles repeatedly describes the human condition in terms of imprisonment and shadows. The Parable sheds light on ACIM's insistence that time, space, bodies, history, etc. are nothing but illusions.

My Quarrel with Richard Rohr
Though I truly admire Richard Rohr as a great spiritual teacher, I find misleading his deemphasis of the historical Jesus in favor of the universal christ. (This is a test publication of my first podcast.)
