<p>We blijven nog in het zuiden waar we de dit keer de provincie Rio Negro aandoen. Na de val het derde rijk was de stad Bariloche door zijn afgelegenheid en Zwiters aandoende landschap een geliefde schuilplaats voor allerlei Nazi's, zoals Dr. Mengele en Priebke. Het waren niet alleen nazi't die toen uit Duitsland kwamen, ook probeerde president Peron Duitse geleerden te lokken om van Argentinië een heuze kernmacht te maken. Als gevolg hiervan exporteert het land nog steeds technologie en kennis. Tot slot zijn er in 1986 nog plannen geweest om Buenos Aires te ontronen en van de provincie hoofdstad Viedma en het tegenover aan de rivier gelegen stadje Carmen de Patagones de nieuwe federale hoofdstad plan. Iedereen is het erover eens dat het had moeten gebeuren, maar zoals bij veel mooie projecten zat er een te hoog prijskaartje aan.</p>
