O cuidado para quem vive o inesperado
<p>Enfrentar o processo de adoecimento em qualquer fase da vida provoca diversas mudanças no cotidiano. Ninguém está totalmente preparado para lidar com essa situação, principalmente quando o acontecimento muda drasticamente sua rotina com uma internação hospitalar. Essas alterações afetam o bem estar mental, não só devido ao incômodo próprio da enfermidade. O paciente tem a vida reajustada à nova rotina no hospital.</p> <p>A boa notícia é que em vários hospitais há a presença do psicólogo hospitalar, que se incumbe diretamente o paciente e de sua família. De acordo com dados da Universidade Federal de Sergipe, 72,4% desses profissionais especializados estão na rede pública, 20,6% na rede particular e 6,8% nas duas mutuamente.</p> <p>Em consequência da pandemia do novo coronavírus, as equipes médicas estão sob constante estresse com o alto número de pacientes internados e a medo de serem contaminadas. Aqui a ação do psicólogo hospitalar é de suma importância para amenizar os efeitos psicológicos da crise.</p> <p>No Assuntaê dessa semana, o repórter Rodrigo Melo entrevista a psicóloga hospitalar Rafaela Paula Marciano, que fala a respeito dessa profissão, e com a Jessica Ribeiro Piani, uma paciente que precisou desse atendimento psicológico. Para abordar a assunto relacionado aos cuidados à equipe médica no contexto pandêmico, ele também conversa com a psicóloga Ávilly Priscila Felipe, que atua no contexto hospitalar.</p>
