If your AI tool scheduled your campaign for Super Bowl Thursday, you’re not alone. In today’s 1-minute Tidbit, we expose one of the biggest blindspots in large language models: time.

Here’s what the full blog dives into—and why this matters more than it seems:

1. LLMs are not logic engines. They’re brilliant at language but clueless about cause and effect. So while they can talk about March 15th in poetic detail, they can’t reliably tell you what day it falls on. That’s not a bug—it’s baked into how they work.

2. Date fails aren’t just funny—they’re costly.PR blasts, campaign launches, event reminders: all vulnerable to these subtle AI errors. It’s not just embarrassing when they miss—it can derail your entire timeline.

3. Use AI where it shines—not where it struggles.Messaging? Yes. Brainstorming? Definitely. But anything tied to a calendar or system logic should stay human (or at least be double-checked by one).

I learned something, I'd better subscribe.

I'd better let my friends know as well.

This is a public episode.
Your AI assistant might be brilliant at writing code, generating content, and answering obscure trivia—but give it a table full of key messaging, and it fails spectacularly.

In this week’s Tidbit video, I discuss one of the most overlooked causes of off-message AI-generated content.

Here are 3 key takeaways from the full article:

1- Tables and AI don’t get along.LLMs process text sequentially—not spatially. So when your product messaging lives in a table, it’s flattened or skipped entirely. The AI just... doesn’t get it.

2- Format matters—more than you think.Markdown, plain text, and even simplified HTML tables are far more digestible than PowerPoint slides or PDFs. The way you package your messaging determines how well the AI understands it.

3- The fix is simple (and scalable).Adopt the Doc Approach: create a parallel version of your marketing tables in LLM-friendly formats. It’s low effort—and unlocks high-impact results.

Here’s the full blog.

I learned something — I better subscribe, share, and add a comment.

This is a public episode.
