BaixaCharla #6: Tecnodiversidade, Yuk Hui

<p>A sexta BaixaCharla ao vivo, segunda de 2021, falou sobre "Tecnodiversidade", primeira obra publicada no Brasil por Yuk Hui, filósofo da tecnologia, atualmente professor da Universidade da Cidade de Hong Kong. <a href="https://www.ubueditora.com.br/tecnodiversidade.html">Lançada em 2020 pela Ubu</a>, o livro reúne alguns dos principais textos recentes (de 2017 pra cá) em que Hui debate tecnologia, política, filosofia, ecologia e inteligência artificial com ênfase no que ele chama de "cosmotécnicas", tecnologias desenvolvidas em contextos locais e particulares que poderiam conter saídas para a atual crise ecológica, política e social do planeta. Para debater sobre e a partir de Yuk Hui e discutir os textos presentes em “Tecnodiversidade”, Leonardo Foletto, editor do BaixaCultura, conversou com <a href="https://twitter.com/pdrslvr">Pedro Telles da Silveira</a>, que atualmente realiza estágio de pós-doutoramento FAPESP na Unicamp e é um dos coordenadores, desde julho de 2020, do <a href="https://gtec.substack.com/">GTec</a>, Grupo de Estudos em Filosofia e História da Técnica, sediado junto à Associação de Pesquisas e Práticas em Humanidades (APPH), de Porto Alegre.</p>

Kittler.  Publicada originalmente em alemão em 1986, ganhou sua primeira tradução  para o Brasil em 2019. Conversaram sobre e a partir de Kittler, Leonardo  Petersen Lamha, doutorando em Literatura Comparada na UFF (UFF), que  pesquisa relações entre mídia, tecnologia e literatura a partir da  teoria alemã da mídia; e Leonardo Foletto, doutor em comunicação pela  UFRGS, editor do BaixaCultura.</p>
