Hay-hay guys,perkenalkan nama saya SELI TABUNI,mahasiswa aktif di Universitas Kristen satya wacana (UKSW) FKIK/KEPERAWATAN. nah,disini saya akan berbagi cerita pengalaman menarik mengenai BAKAR BATU. Bakar batu adalah tradisi turun-temurun yang sering di adakan oleh masyarakat papua pada umumnya.warisan yang masih di lestarikan dari nenek moyang kini masih tersimpan rapi di benak masyarakat papua. Bakar batu biasanya diadakan untuk ucapan syukuran,penyambutan,upacara adat dan lain sebagainya. Dari kecil saya sudah diajarkan teknik bakar batu ini,mulai dari persiapan sampai dengan cara untuk menayikan hasil dari bakar batu. Pada bulan desember setelah hari raya natal di keluarga saya sering adakan acara bakar batu,ibu,saya dan beberapa ibu-ibu lainnya biasanya kami bertugas untuk mengumpulkan sayur-sayuran,ubi-ubian dan penyedap rasa. untuk kaum pria mengumpulkan bebatuan,kayu bakar lalu menyiapkannya untuk memanaskan bebatuan yang sudah dipilih. Setelah semua nya terkumpul saya,ibu saya dan beberapa ibu- ibu lainnya membawa hasil sayur-sayuran dan ubi-ubian dekat kolam yang di kenal dalam bahasa LANI suku DANI yaitu “KAMBE’’.sebelum itu kolam ini sudah dibuat oleh kaum pria,dialas dengan dasar daun pisang dan alang-alang. setelah semua dasarnya sudah dilengkapi,sebelum masukkan ubi,batu yang sudah dipanas di masukkan di dasar setelah itu ditutup dengan daun pisang,lalu masukkan ubi-ubian,kemudian ditutupi dengan daun pisang lalu masukan batu panas lagi dan tutup dengan daun pisang.diatasnya masukkan sayuran dan daging setelah itu batu panas di bungkus dengan daun pisang menggunakan tangan kosong dan di letakkan dicela-cela sayuran. setelah semuanya selesai finisnya ditutup rapat agar masakan bakar batunya lebih matang dan hasilnya seperti gambit diatas. Sangat menarik lohhh,sekian cerita pengalaman saya tentang bakar batu semoga cerita ini bermanfaat untuk kita sekalian. Syalom…
