Building a community of Faith, Hope and Love in Jesus Name!
Sunday sermons for everyday life.
This podcast features weekly sermon recordings from Batemans Bay Baptist Church. Grounded in Scripture and centred on Jesus, these messages flow from our vision to be a thriving community of disciples, worshipping God, loving one another, and serving our world.
Each week, we open the Bible together with a heart for worship, a focus on growing in community, and a call to live on mission in everyday life.
Children of the Light | Peter Nelson
What should a life transformed by Jesus actually look like?
In this message from Ephesians 4:17–5:20, Peter Nelson explores Paul’s call to leave behind the old way of life, put on the new self, walk in love, live wisely, and reflect the light of Christ in the world around us.
Following Jesus changes more than what we believe. It begins to reshape our words, choices, relationships and priorities as we learn to live as people made new in Christ.
“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.” — Ephesians 5:8

Ephesians: Built Together
Built Together | Jason Morris
What does it look like to live in a way that reflects the calling we have received in Christ?
In this message from Ephesians 4:1–6, Jason explores Paul’s call to humility, gentleness, patience and love, and the importance of preserving the unity God has already given His people.
We are not simply individuals following Jesus on our own. In Christ, we are one body, united by one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism and one God and Father of all.
“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” — Ephesians 4:3

Ephesians: Rooted in Love
Rooted in Love | Pastor Anthony Watson
How deep is the love of Christ, and what difference does it make to the way we live?
As we continue our journey through Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians, we come to one of Paul’s great prayers for the Church. He prays that God’s people would be strengthened by the Spirit, rooted and established in love, and able to grasp together just how wide, long, high and deep the love of Christ really is.
This is more than knowing about God’s love. It is about being formed by it, strengthened by it, and learning to live from it.
“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power… to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” — Ephesians 3:17–18
