About Beyond Belief | Come follow me: going beyond the manual

What happens when your daughter starts asking the questions you were never allowed to? Beyond Belief: Still Small Questions is an unscripted, raw conversation between a father who grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—and his daughter, who didn’t. Lou wants answers. Real ones. Not the ones in the manual. Each episode, Lou asks direct, thoughtful questions about Mormon doctrine, culture, history, and silence. From the role of women to LGBTQ+ issues, from polygamy to prophets, no topic is off limits. There’s no script, no agenda—just a genuine exploration of belief, doubt

Why Don’t They Ask? | Still Small Questions: Episode 1

What happens when your own daughter starts asking the questions you never dared to? In this new series, Beyond the Manual, my daughter Lou sits me down and asks what so many members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints never do: Why don’t people know more about their own faith? Why don’t they ask? I grew up LDS. Lou didn’t. And that gap between us is exactly what makes this conversation so real. This is not scripted. This is not rehearsed. This is me, being asked the tough questions—by my daughter—and trying to answer with honesty, vulnerability, and as much grace as I can muster. If you’ve ever wondered what’s behind the silence, the certainty, or the fear of asking... join us. #exmormon #lds #faithcrisis #deconstruction #mormonwomen #beyondthemanual
