Beliau (Imam Zakariyya Al-Anshari) rahimahullah berkata: (وَعَوْرَةُ الْحُرَّةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَعِنْدَ الْأَجْنَبِيِّ) وَلَوْ خَارِجَهَا (جَمِيعُ بَدَنِهَا إلَّا الْوَجْهَ، وَالْكَفَّيْنِ) ظَهْرًا وَبَطْنًا إلَى الْكُوعَيْنِ “Aurat wanita merdeka di dalam salat dan di hadapan laki-laki asing walaupun di luar salat, adalah seluruh badannya kecuali wajah dan kedua telapak tangan, baik bagian atas (luar) dan bagian dalam sampai dua pergelangan tangan.” (Asna Al-Mathalib, jilid I, hlm. 176). Jika muslimin di Indonesia cenderung mengamalkan pendapat yang tidak mewajibkan cadar dalam posisi bertaqlid kepada Imam Zakariyya Al-Anshari, itu sah-sah saja, dan tidak bisa dikatakan keluar dari mazhab
