The Anchor tool is very easy to use. I created the podcast in just a few minutes. It was so easy, I added music. After writing the description, I added a photo but had trouble with the machine buffering. Creating Podcasts is not difficult if you have a good tool and this one seemed to fit the bill. It was easy and self-explanatory. This tool makes me realize how easy it is to adjust my teaching to using simple technology. This may help reach some of my auditory learners. It is interesting and easy to use!

Experience with Tool

Using the Anchor app was easy. I simply signed up, followed the prompts and made the podcast. I added a little music for a soothing, calming effect. The whole experience took me about 5 minutes. The description also took another few minutes. The difficult part was uploading the photo I wanted to add. The first one I selected did not look well so I attempted to change it from one of my own collections. Unfortunately, when I changed the photo, the app kept buffering and would not allow me to progress. So, I began again by selecting the original podcast I made and completed another description and added another photo.

What I Learned

I learned that creating a Podcast is not a difficult thing. Adding music to it was just as easy. Sometimes in life, we just need to have the right tools to successfully accomplish a goal. I played with my Voice Memo in my car a bit but the background noise was troublesome. It made me think of that show with comedians riding in cars.

Shaping Thinking & Practice

I now know that I can make a Podcase very easily with Anchor. This likely will help me in some of the classes I teach. We all know that integrating technology into the learning environment helps to reach different kinds of learners. This technology can help reach those auditory learners. In addition, it is different, which can break up the monotony of classical teaching. Thank you for visiting my webpage and my podcast.

Buen Camino
