<p>DMCs with the IME is a brand-new series brought to you by the IME Student Council. In this series, we have conversations with individuals who have trained in medicine, but also have a diversified medical career (DMC) involving the vast realms of medical ethics. We hope that this series will inspire our audience to diversify their own careers, and dip into medical ethics - a much-needed bank of knowledge!</p> <p>In this episode, we speak to Dr. Wing May Kong, the current Chair of the Institute of Medical Ethics, and Ethics and Law Lead for Undergraduate Medicine and more at Imperial College, London. In her clinical practice, Wing May is a Consultant Endocrinologist with a special interest in the Diabetic foot. In the first episode of DMCs with the IME, we chat about how she maintains a balance between Dr. Kong's clinical practice and her work in medical ethics education. We explore her ideas around medical ethics teaching, and how she carved a path for herself to achieve her current career.
