Pastor Mike delivers a sermon on Genesis 48, encouraging believers to "look four ways before you go." He emphasizes the importance of looking upward in faith, backward with gratitude, outward in love, and onward in hope. Pastor Mike uses Jacob's deathbed scene to illustrate these four perspectives, reminding us of God's power, promises, and sustaining grace throughout our lives.

Faithful Leadership in a Foreign Land - Genesis 47
Welcome to Community's Online Service!
Pastor Mike examines Genesis 47, highlighting how God's wisdom was manifested in Joseph's life. The sermon emphasizes three key areas where Joseph demonstrated divine wisdom: in his relationships, in handling responsibilities during a national crisis, and in planning for the future. This wisdom ultimately preserved the covenant family and blessed both Egypt and Joseph's family.

Faith, Fulfillment, and the Road Ahead - Genesis 46
Welcome to Community's Online Service!
We are so glad that you have joined us today! At Community, we believe in ‘Loving God and Loving People.'
Pastor Jeff explores the concept of stepping out in faith into the unknown, using Jacob's journey to Egypt in Genesis 46 as a Biblical example. He emphasizes that faith follows God into unfamiliar territory, requires worship along the way, and recognizes that believers are pilgrims in this world. The sermon encourages Christians to trust God's providence and promises, even when the path ahead is unclear.
