Is Eating Meat a SIN? What Does the Bible Say About Hunting? | Let's Talk About It Ep. 14
🥩 IS EATING MEAT WRONG? IS HUNTING IMMORAL? AND WHAT DOES GOD REALLY SAY ABOUT IT? 🦌 In Episode 14 of LET'S TALK ABOUT IT, we're tackling a controversial subject: Is it morally wrong to kill animals for food, and does the Bible support hunting and eating meat? In a world where animal rights activists, vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters often clash over what's right and wrong, we're taking the conversation beyond personal feelings and social media outrage to examine what Scripture actually says. Did God give mankind permission to eat animals? Does the Bible condemn hunting? Is killing an animal for food cruel? And can you love and respect God's creation while still eating meat? We'll explore biblical passages including: 📖 Genesis 9:3 — God gives Noah permission to eat living creatures. 📖 Genesis 27:3 — Isaac instructs Esau to take his bow and hunt wild game. 📖 Leviticus 17:13 — Instructions concerning animals taken through hunting. 📖 1 Timothy 4:4–5 — God's creation is good and may be received with thanksgiving. We'll also discuss the arguments commonly made against hunting and meat consumption, including animal suffering, compassion, unnecessary killing, and whether modern society has lost respect for the animals that provide our food. But there's another side to this conversation. Just because the Bible permits something, does that mean there are no moral responsibilities attached to it? We'll discuss responsible hunting, stewardship of God's creation, respect for animal life, and the difference between killing for food and causing unnecessary suffering. Whether you're a hunter, a meat eater, a vegetarian, or someone who simply wants to understand the biblical perspective, this conversation is for you. 🎙️ LET'S TALK ABOUT IT — EPISODE 14 Real Talk • Faith • Life • Community 💬 JOIN THE CONVERSATION! Do you believe hunting and eating meat are morally acceptable? Does your opinion come from Scripture, personal convictions, or how you feel about animals? Share your thoughts in the comments. We don't have to agree to have a meaningful conversation! 👍 Like, subscribe, and share if you enjoy honest discussions about faith, life, and the issues shaping our world. #LetsTalkAboutIt #CKDMJ #ChristianPodcast #Hunting #EatingMeat #AnimalRights #Veganism #BiblicalTruth #Christianity #BibleStudy #Faith #HuntingEthics #MeatEating #GodsCreation

DADCAST: Why Fathers Matter More Than Ever | Let’s Talk About It Ep. 13
This one is for the DADS. In Episode 13 of Let’s Talk About It, we're doing something a little different. We're calling this one the DADCAST, and we're talking about the incredibly important role fathers play in the lives of their children. Being a father is about much more than providing a paycheck or simply living under the same roof. A present and involved dad can help shape a child's confidence, character, discipline, relationships, education, and understanding of what it means to love and be loved. We'll look at statistics surrounding father involvement and father absence, discuss some of the challenges facing dads today, and—most importantly—look at what the Bible says about fatherhood. “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6 None of us gets fatherhood right all the time. We make mistakes. We lose our patience. We wonder whether we're doing enough. But our children don't need perfect fathers—they need present fathers willing to love them, teach them, discipline them, encourage them, protect them, and lead by example. And dads, don't underestimate your importance. Your kids are watching. Your kids are learning. Your kids need you. Being a father may be one of the most important jobs God will ever give you. 🎙️ Welcome to the DADCAST — Let’s Talk About It. Ghosts & the Paranormal: What Does the Bible REALLY Say? | Let’s Talk About It Podcast
👻 Are ghosts real? What about hauntings, spirits, demons, and paranormal experiences? In this unscripted episode of Let’s Talk About It, we dive into the mysterious world of ghosts and the paranormal from a Christian perspective. People have reported strange encounters for thousands of years—voices with no apparent source, shadowy figures, unexplained movements, haunted locations, and experiences that seem impossible to explain. But just because something appears supernatural doesn't necessarily tell us what it is. We discuss what the Bible says about death and the spiritual world, including angels and demons, communicating with the dead, mediums and spiritists, and some of Scripture's strangest supernatural accounts. We also tackle the big questions: Do the dead remain among us? Could some “ghost” encounters have ordinary explanations? Could others involve spiritual deception? And how should Christians respond when confronted with something they can't explain? Rather than allowing fear or fascination to guide us, we're going back to Scripture and asking what Christians can actually know—and where we need to admit that we simply don't know. 👻 Have you ever experienced something you couldn't explain? Tell us your story in the comments. Welcome to Let’s Talk About It — a CKDMJ Podcast. #LetsTalkAboutIt #Ghosts #Paranormal #ChristianPodcast #Bible #Christianity #Supernatural #GhostStories #SpiritualWarfare #Demons #Faith #CKDMJ

Can you really do anything through God (Bonus Short) #letstalkaboutit #christianpodcast
CAN YOU REALLY DO ANYTHING THROUGH GOD? “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13 But what does that verse actually mean? Does it mean God will give us anything we want? That we can accomplish literally anything if we have enough faith? In this short, we take a closer look at Philippians 4:13, its context, and what Paul was really saying about strength, faith, hardship, and trusting God. Sometimes “I can do all things through Christ” doesn't mean God will make everything easy. It means Christ gives us the strength to endure whatever He calls us to face. 🙏 What do YOU think Philippians 4:13 means? #LetsTalkAboutIt #Philippians413 #Christianity #Jesus #Faith #God #Bible #ChristianPodcast #ChristianShorts #CKDMJ

Does Separation of Church and State mean what you think it does?
SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE — WHAT DID THE FOUNDERS ACTUALLY MEAN? “Separation of church and state” is one of the most repeated phrases in American political and religious discussions—but where did it actually come from? In this episode of Let’s Talk About It, we go back to the beginning and examine the First Amendment, the Founding Fathers, and the historical origins of the idea commonly called the “separation of church and state.” What does the First Amendment actually say? Did the Founding Fathers intend to remove religion from government and public life—or were they primarily protecting Americans from the government establishing a national religion while also protecting the free exercise of religion? We’ll look at the wording Congress actually adopted in 1789, the ratification of the Bill of Rights in 1791, and the historical circumstances that shaped the Religion Clauses. We’ll also examine Thomas Jefferson’s famous 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptist Association, where he used the phrase “a wall of separation between Church & State.” Interestingly, those exact words do not appear in the First Amendment. Jefferson was explaining how he understood the constitutional protection of religious liberty. So what did “separation of church and state” originally mean? And how did that phrase develop into the way Americans understand it today? This episode looks at the history, the actual constitutional language, and the debate surrounding one of the most misunderstood phrases in American history. Let’s Talk About It. 📖 First Amendment: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” 🇺🇸 Was America founded to separate government from religion—or to protect religious freedom? You decide. If you enjoy history, Christianity, politics, and conversations about the ideas that shaped America, make sure to subscribe to CKDMJ and join the conversation. A particularly interesting point for the episode is that Jefferson did not write the First Amendment—the phrase “wall of separation” appeared in his 1802 letter more than a decade after the amendment was ratified. #LetsTalkAboutIt #FirstAmendment #SeparationOfChurchAndState #ReligiousFreedom #AmericanHistory #Constitution #BillOfRights #ThomasJefferson #FoundingFathers #Christianity #History #CKDMJ

This Podcast Topic Was a Mistake!
Sometimes the problem isn’t execution. It’s the subject. In this episode, I talk honestly about what happens when you realize you’ve built momentum around the wrong topic. Not because it was evil. Not because it wasn’t interesting. But because it was not in your plan but apparently was in God's! There’s a difference between passion and calling. Between reaction and discernment. Between talking about a planned topic and being presented with something not even on your radar. We live in a culture that rewards outrage and intensity. It’s easy to pick a subject that gets attention. It’s harder to pick one that builds something lasting, and even harder to run with a topic that is not even yours! This video is about: Listening to the spirit as it guides you while not getting stuck in your own desires and boundaries. It's about making a mistake that seems pretty impossible then thinking it must be something you are supposed to do and running with it with no prep. If you’ve ever felt like you were moving forward then realized you were not going the right way and had to make a sudden turn, this ones for you.
