A pochi metri da qui c’è un luogo magico, conosciuto come Villa Borgia, già dimora dei discendenti della vecchia famiglia romana, ricostruita e adattata a seminario per molto tempo; avendo avuto la fortuna di frequentare i suoi giardini, mi sono imbattuto in alcune lapidi nascoste tra il fogliame. <br />E’ nata così l’ispirazione per questa storia d’amore fra un prete e una donna del borgo. Tra le mura della vecchia costruzione i due amanti scoprono un quadro del ‘500 che rappresenta Danae, nipote di Lucrezia Borgia. Essa allora, attraverso il quadro prodotto della follia di uno strano pittore, diventa la muta testimone dei loro incontri. Da quel momento le due donne, vissute in epoche diverse, dovranno rivivere gli stessi drammi e le stesse passioni, in una storia senza tempo.
