<p>Donnie Maclurcan is the director of the <a href="https://www.postgrowth.org/">Post Growth Institute</a>, an international, not for profit organization working to enable collective wellbeing within ecological limits. When we met in person in 2019, he made an off-hand remark that has kept me curious for a while now, which is that the current monetary system is not a barrier to a post-capitalist society.
