das weisse haus has been present in Vienna since 2007 as a venue for exhibitions, performances and lectures by young artists and in cooperation with national and international partners.
studio das weisse haus, a studio and residence program for national and international artists, curators, critics, and theoreticians was added in 2013 to the platform’s field of activity – visible in the ever stronger interweaving of the two focal points and the networking of the participating actors.
Traveling Voices - Traveling Noices, Episode 3: "Sound of nature"
The podcast „Traveling Voices - Traveling Noises“ accompanies the screening program „Travel Apparatus“ at das weisse haus. In three episodes, participating artists reflect on traveling as well as on the issues addressed in their video works. Each episode is dedicated to a different soundscape perceived on our travels. While the first episode deals with languages and conversations, the second episode is all about music and the third and last episode focuses on sounds of nature. Exclusive sound works by selected artists are added to each episode as a sound postcard.
