MAJOR SELECTION & SET-PIECE REGRETS! | Crystal Palace 2-1 Liverpool reaction
Liverpool suffered their first defeat of the new Premier League season as they were beaten 2-1 by Crystal Palace.
Federico Chiesa looked to have nicked a point following an improved second-half performance, but Eddie Nketiah's 98th-minute strike decided the match in the hosts' favour.
And Reds' reporter David Lynch believes that, while it was a deserved win for Oliver Glasner's side, the visitors will feel they could easily have taken a share of the spoils.
In this post-match review, he focuses on the selection mistake that gave away the first half, as well as the set-piece troubles suffered by Liverpool.
However, Arne Slot's men are also credited for a second-half showing that meant there could have been few complaints if they'd earned something from the game.

LATE WINNER WAS FULLY DESERVED! | Liverpool 3-2 Atletico Madrid reaction
Liverpool kicked off their latest Champions League campaign with a thrilling 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid at Anfield on Wednesday.
The hosts looked to be cruising to victory after two early goals from Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah but a deflected Marcos Llorente effort before half-time kept the visitors in it.
And the same man scored again thanks to another deflection late on to seemingly grab a point for Atletico that they had barely merited.
However, Arne Slot's side called on their incredible knack for scoring late winners once again, with Virgil van Dijk nodding home a corner in injury time.
That is no more than they merited, according to Reds reporter David Lynch, who was at Anfield to see the drama unfold.
Here, he hails the incredible spirit of Slot's men, while debutant Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz and Ryan Gravenberch are also praised.
