De dood kan het leven niet stoppen
In Lukas 7 vertelt Gertjan van Harten over de weduwe van Nain en de opwekking van haar zoon. Hij benadrukt de botsing tussen dood en leven, Gods diepe bewogenheid en dat Jezus niet wegloopt bij ons verdriet. De opwekking is een voorproefje van de uiteindelijke opstanding: de dood is wel onontkoombaar nu, maar hoort niet bij Gods bedoeling. Jezus’ opstanding geeft hoop en troost voor wie rouwen.
