#11. Reconnecting Deeper with: Narda Virellia (A Perspective on Physical and Mental Wellbeing) Pt. 2
Welcome to the second part of our talk with Narda! (If you haven't yet, please listen to the Part 1 of this first to get the whole story!) In this Part 2, Narda introduces us to Kasadaia: a blog with a play on the name that translates to "house of power" which focuses on empowerment of people specifically employees. She co-created this blog with her brother based on their personal workplace experiences, which she opens up about. She then talks about knowing our limits, respecting ourselves, and treating yourself well on the inside and on the outside, as these factors are key for our physical and mental wellbeing not just at work but in the general context as well. Towards the end of this episode, we also briefly touch upon her internship experience in Russia, and her wishes to move towards a career with a cause that she's passionate about. - Feel free to share with us your thoughts and opinions by following and leaving us a message on our Instagram @deeper.talks, sending us a mail to hey.deeper@gmail.com, or leaving us a voice message!

#11. Reconnecting Deeper with: Narda Virellia (A Perspective on Beauty Pageants) Pt. 1

In this session, we had the lovely opportunity to catch up with one of our dear friends back from university, Narda! Again, we had such a great discussion with one another, hence we had to split this into two parts; don't forget to listen to Part 2 to get the whole story!

In this Part 1, we talk about Narda's experience in Indonesia's most prestigious national-wide beauty pageants. Despite initially having doubts about joining due to the negative connotations that beauty pageants sometimes come with, she decided to change her perspective and do it for a greater reason. Her noble intentions truly showed result: she earned the title of runner-up back in 2018!

Her story so far translates into something very meaningful: facing your greatest fear head on can be one of the most effective ways to overcome it. We may end up doing something that we never expected to be doing. And even if things don't always go according to plan, there is still a great possibility that they could fall into place beautifully. Keep your morals close to your heart, and realise your self-worth.

-

Feel free to share with us your thoughts and opinions by following and leaving us a message on our Instagram @deeper.talks, sending us a mail to hey.deeper@gmail.com, or leaving us a voice message!
