Democratie onder druk 5 - Coronabeleid: van vaccinatieplicht tot vrijheid
Het coronabeleid leidt tot steeds meer discussie. Over het 2G-systeem in de (nacht)horeca en 3G op 'de werkvloer' of in het hoger onderwijs of een vaccinatieplicht zijn de meningen verdeeld. Sommigen beroepen zich op hun persoonlijke vrijheden, en hoe die door sommige maatregelen beperkt worden. Anderen doen een beroep op solidariteit, en verwijten de eerste groep egoïsme. Wat betekent dit voor onze democratie? Welke moreel-ethische afwegingen komen kijken bij de maatregelen? En welk effect hebben zij op het gedrag van mensen? Daarover spraken studentassistent Anna-Sofie Schep en filosoof en journalist Anita van Rootselaar met drie gasten: ethicus Fleur Jongepier, antropoloog en lid voormalig Red Team Ginny Mooy, en filosoof Gabriel van den Brink.
