About Don't Mention the Axes!
Don’t Mention the Axes is a weekly podcast where friends gather around the table to talk absolute nonsense, questionable life choices, and the things that somehow become hilarious when discussed with the wrong people. Hosted by Chewie, Kooks, and Meat Fists, the show originally started when the trio began commentating on axe throwing events together. What began as joking around behind the mic quickly turned into something bigger — a podcast where the conversation goes wherever it feels like going. Each episode dives into whatever happens to be on their minds that week — from bizarre news stories and strange hobbies to awkward social situations, ridiculous debates, and the occasional guest who probably regrets agreeing to appear. Expect a mix of storytelling, chaotic tangents, and the kind of conversations that normally happen after a few drinks… except now there are microphones involved. If you enjoy unfiltered humour, random topics, and the sound of friends trying (and often failing) to stay on track, you’re in the right place. New episodes every week on YouTube and all major podcast platforms.

Picnics & Choirs
Don't Mention the Axes is a comedy podcast where three former axe throwers get together to chat nonsense, tell ridiculous stories, and occasionally reminisce about their time in the throwing lanes. Hosted by Chewie, Kooks, and Meat Fists, the show started life as a group of axe throwing commentators who spent far too much time talking between matches. Eventually someone had the bright idea to put microphones in front of them and record the chaos. Each episode is a laid-back hangout filled with random topics, strange tangents, questionable life advice, and the kind of conversations that usually happen after hours at the throwing venue. One minute the lads might be talking about bizarre competitions or odd characters they’ve encountered over the years, and the next they’re debating things like microwaved kippers, or why someone thought dressing up as a strongman rabbit was a good idea. You don’t need to know anything about axe throwing to enjoy the show. At its heart, Don't Mention the Axes is simply three friends having a laugh and sharing stories — the sort of conversation you’d expect if you pulled up a chair at the table with them. If you enjoy comedy podcasts, casual banter, and unpredictable conversations, you’ll probably feel right at home here. New episodes are released regularly on YouTube and all major podcast platforms.
