Shampoo bars: ¿Son para todos?
<p>Si hay un producto estrella del "zero waste", definitivamente es el shampoo sólido. Probablemente hayas escuchado mucho o poco o solo rumores sobre el sulfato y otros químicos que se añaden a los champús regulares que han hecho que poco a poco estas grandes marcas detrás de ellos hayan ido perdiendo clientes... incluyéndome. Aquí les cuento cómo fue esa transición de un shampoo sin sulfatos ni parabenos hacia el shampoo sólido (o mejor dicho, varios). Y el camino ha sido... digamos rocoso. You probably have heard a lot or a little or maybe just rumours about sulfates and other chemicals regular shampoo uses, which is why big brands have been losing clients each year... including me. I want to share here how that transition went for me; going from a sulfate and paraben-free shampoo to a shampoo bar (or many, actually). Because the road has been... rocky, to say the least. Natural deodorant: ¿Me arriesgo o no?
<p>Desde que mis hormonas empezaron a revolotear, salir de casa sin usar desodorante era impensable, casi, casi un pecado. Eso, sin contar cuánto nos salva de las manchas de sudor en la ropa. Entonces, si has usado una marca de desodorante y/o antitranspirante por mucho tiempo, ¿por qué lo cambiarías? Te entiendo perfectamente. Yo me hacía la misma pregunta porque... ¿qué pasa si el desodorante natural no funciona? ¿vale la pena? Muchos se han animado a usar uno por el miedo a uno de los ingredientes de los desodorantes antitranspirantes: el aluminio. Se ha dicho tanto de este ingrediente, pero sobre todo, que causa cáncer de mama y que daña los riñones. And I'm not even mentioning what a lifesaver it is preventing sweat stains on our clothes. So, if you have used a deodorant and/or antiperspirant brand for so long, why would you change it, right? I got you. I asked myself the same question because... what happens if natural deodorant doesn't work? Is it worth it? Many have been drawn to it by fear of one of its ingredients: aluminium. So much has been said about it, especially, that it can cause breast cancer and that it damages our kidneys. But, how true is that? A good investment: ¿En qué debería invertir?
<p>Desde que nació la idea de Ecoaffordable, quise colaborar en romper el mito de que se necesita mucho dinero para girar hacia una vida más ecosustentable. Pero, ¿qué pasa cuando hay productos que cuestan un poco más? ¿Siempre son un gasto? Siempre... ¿sin excepción? Muchas veces me he topado con esa disyuntiva, dudando entre si comprar algo o no, si vale la pena o no. Y así es como llegué a una idea: las compras inteligentes. Un sistema que me ayuda a mantenerme dentro de mi presupuesto. Ajá... ya, ¿pero qué son y cómo sé que lo que estoy comprando cae en esa categoría?
