Digital Marketing Trends

Hello, dear listeners of our podcast. Today we want to discuss the digital marketing trends that have become most relevant at the current moment. Have you ever wondered where everything is going so fast? You sit down, have a cup of tea and everything has already changed. And you need to learn something new again to at least keep up. So now we are going to share these trends with you.

You can't start talking about trends in marketing without the now ubiquitous artificial intelligence. There are now image generators, content generators, video generators, so artificial intelligence is already firmly in our regular lives. All services are trying to integrate artificial intelligence their work. AI tools are released to make sales departments sell even more efficiently and more beautifully, because AI mainly helps with texts, and then they send these texts to clients via messengers. In fact, IT services are quickly becoming indispensable marketing assistants. 64% of marketers are already using it. The situation gets interesting when we look at how marketers see artificial intelligence being used. 60% say it will act as an assistant to help them do their jobs, duties, while 20% believe that artificial intelligence is primarily a laborer who does backdoor work. 81% of marketers who use artificial intelligence say it effectively helps them do their job. Specifically, it helps them in improving the qualities of the content they create, such as checking for errors. In improving the efficiency of content creation. That is, it creates both text, photos, and videos quickly. The marketers surveyed said that analyzing data, researching that data, and creating content are the main use cases for AI. This tells us that marketers will not replace creatives authors with AI.

Social media continues to be pretty much the only venue where people learn about new products. And this is true across all generations. Social media is becoming a one-stop shop from finding information through recommendations from bloggers, for example, to in-app purchases and customer service through newsletters. One in four users buy something based on a blogger's recommendation.

Short videos. Video is currently the number one content marketing format, and most marketers say it provides them with the highest ROI. It is also used by most marketers. While short videos have been dominant for a few years now, and in the last year it just saw the most growth and companies are planning to invest in it more than any other format, well, they already are. This is probably because marketers are reporting that video-centric social media platforms are the most effective and offer the best return on investment. If you're not already making short videos and have been waiting for a signal, here it is. Not only is influencer marketing, i.e. bloggers and Influencers, super effective and that will continue this year, but Influencers are becoming even more influential in the buying decision. According to marketers, working with microbloggers has been giving a big payoff. The main reasons for this are that working with small bloggers is cheaper, making it easier to actually build long-term partnerships and relationships, access to cohesive, engaged and loyal communities. Small bloggers have a warmer and more loyal audience, of course, so the payoff is greater.

That concludes the first episode of the podcast.
