No Matter What
A year and a half ago, the Imperial Orcs began to seriously address the problems of aridity faced in their new territory of Mareave. Since then, amongst other wonders where once there was desert there is now an oasis in the region of Icarion. This was in large part possible because of expert Freeborn advice. That advice was not dearly, it seems they genuinely wished to aid their fellows. After all, the Imperial Orcs and the Freeborn have a bond forged by the Exemplar Ahraz that is a flame eternal.

The Visitation
It is not just the great and the good of the Empire who come to Anvil each equinox and solstice. The tent-city that springs up around the the Forge attracts visitors from all over the known world, and beyond. Some are drawn by the promise of wealth, some by the need to find the wisest and the bravest to help them resolve their dilemmas, some seek to influence those who wield true power in the Empire, and others come to celebrate and forge new relationships with those drawn to the heart of Imperial power.

Myth makers
Many of the nations that border the Empire are orc nations. Not all are barbarians; the Empire has a long-standing peace treaty with the Thule for example. There are also communities of orcs within the Empire's borders. Some are part of Imperial nations - the Unshackled, the former Grendel of the League, the free Jotun thralls of the Marches. Others maintain a degree of independence while still being at least ambivalent to the Empire - the orcs of Beoraidh and the Protectorate of Morajasse.
