<p><strong>In this podcast, I discuss the importance of being self aware in today’s society. I define happiness itself and joy. The denotation and connotation are compared. I talk about how being self-aware can improve your happiness level. I explain how self-awareness is connected to how much we care about others’ opinions. Multiple outside sources are considered and quoted throughout the episode. I refer to an academic journal, a podcast, and an article. The Psychological idea of subjective happiness is re-introduced. Subjective happiness is the way we perceive and measure our own happiness. Happiness has become a goal for almost everyone in the world. I reiterate what Psychologists say, that the problem with this is that happiness tends to fluctuate and can be depending on who you are around or what you are doing. There is power in perspective. I share that when we change our perspective, we change our experience.</strong></p>
