Elk op hun eigen manier uitdagend, koppig, jaloers, gevoelig en mysterieus. Ze hebben lief in een leven vol kunst en maken kunst in een leven vol zelfmythologisering. </p> <p><em>Laurie & Lou</em> is een duet tussen twee jonge makers en een pseudomuzikaal portret van twee iconen. Maar bovenal is het een wilde clusterfuck van die vier persoonlijkheden – een even ingebeelde als welgemeende poging om samen iconisch te zijn zonder in elkaars schaduw te staan.</p>
