My Body : A Crash Course
The relationship of a woman with her body is shaped by the society which speaks the language of control and violence. From defining the ideal shape, size and colour of a woman's physical existence to denying her access to her own body in the name of morals and values, a woman's body becomes a mere object for male gaze and satisfaction. A Complaint
From challenging age old taboos to raising their voice against violence, an everyday life of a woman is a constant battle against patriarchy. I wish this was just a cliché line to be quoted in academic papers but sadly everytime one starts to think in this direction, patriarchy stoops to a new low. And of course, dear society says "women complain and nag all the time." Do you mind hearing a young woman for her side of the story once ?
