Hoppla: Simulasi — How to Catch a Sea Snake Online
"I think it’s pretty violent to take away net art from where it came from, where it ended up in, or where it was neglected. These are some places that I always try to inhabit. Because when you shuttle forward always – something I also say in the book – it means you’re leaving other things behind."
An intimate audio conversation between Renan Laru-an and Alfred Marasigan explores ephemerality, materiality, net art, post-colonial effect, and so on. YOu can read the transcript here: https://simulasi.hoppla.id/essay/how-to-catch-a-sea-snake-online/
