Not only is she a performance driver/racer, but she is also a role model for many young girls across the country.<br> After facing a serious hip injury, which ended her triathlon career, she felt lost. She felt as if her identity was stripped and felt terrified. She realized then that she had to force herself to face her internal issues head-on instead of running away from them.</p>
