Welcome to Faith and Entrepreneurship! I'm your host Matthew, and I have spent the last 8 years of my life building businesses as that is something I love doing! I also love connecting with people and hearing their stories, this podcast will catalog my journey interviewing other business owners and Entrepreneurs to hear their stories and journey, as well as sharing my thoughts/experiences on topics related to faith and entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship requires the consistent ability to move forward and make critical decisions even when you don't know how things are going to turn out, and that is exactly what faith is. The willingness to take a step forward, and risk something important to you, without requiring more evidence or reasons to take the step. Faith is the essential attribute of entrepreneurship and risk-taking. This will be a common theme discussed and unpacked on this show as you will see it is quite multi-faceted! I'm going to be sitting down and doing a series of interviews with business owners and entrepreneurs to discuss their journey and the obstacles they face along the way. This podcast is for anyone who is interested in business, entrepreneurship, and hearing the stories of various owners/founders who started businesses and brands serving customers and bringing value to the market! Have you ever wondered how entrepreneurs get started or end up going down “Non-Traditional pathways”? Have you ever invested everything you had in something only to have it completely fail? Did you feel like that failure would be permanent? Wonder if you could ever recover? Or if you made a mistake even trying to begin with? In this episode, I aim to capture such a story from a good friend of mine who is the very person that inspired me to start down my entrepreneurial pathway. Ahad now owns an 8 figure E-Commerce business, a franchise, and many real estate investments. We also discuss how the faith of his grandfather played a role in his parents coming to the USA to begin with, as well as his religious heritage and Ismaili background. The goal of these interviews is to simply have fun discussing the journey my guests have been on, and provide a space for us to reflect together, ask curious questions, and learn something from their path. I know his story will inspire and encourage you no matter where you are in your entrepreneurial journey. In this episode, we cover Ahad’s beginnings, early failures, and his journey to going all in on business.
