Brother Lawrence's Faith, Life, Legacy

Brother Lawrence born 1611, died 1691, lived an outstandingly humble life constantly conversing with God. Their are many examples that can be taken from Brother Lawrence's life that will be useful in every Christian's lives. Whether it is a desire to know God more and spend more time in His light. Or a simpler question about how to find enjoyment and fulfilment in menial tasks such as washing the dishes.

We all have lots to learn from the incredible Faith and devotion that Brother Lawrence had to God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. His life was not as straightforward as would guess but makes it more relevant to our own messy lives. Finally, we have lots to learn from the letters that Brother Lawrence wrote while he lived in a Catholic Monastery of Discalced Carmelites. His book, The Practice of the Presence of God, is one of the most famous and helpful Christian books ever written. As such it will provide amazing support to those that known its content.

Many thanks, to all those who helped, inspired and participated in this podcast. Thanks!
