<p>Last Tuesday during the Ad Hoc CDBG Committee hearing $1,060,000 was allocated for a <strong>rent relief/eviction prevention program</strong> to be dispersed through the San Bernardino Housing Authority. It was stated that CDBG-CV Funds did not state whether they could or could not be used to aid undocumented families in our community.</p> <p><strong>RIGHT NOW, </strong>you can help ensure that our city council and mayor make keeping our families housed a top priority as we adapt to the fallout of the pandemic. On <strong>Wednesday August 19th </strong>at <strong>5:30 PM</strong> San Bernardino’s City Council will have a hearing during the City Council Meeting in order to approve the implementation of <strong>$6,446,486 </strong>in COVID-19 Federal Aid Funding. <a href="http://www.sbcity.org/civica/filebank/blobdload.asp?BlobID=28712"><u>20-21 Annual Action Plan</u></a> where the total spending for those funds is outlined.</p> <p>Take action here: <a href="https://icuc.link/speakup"><u>icuc.link/speakup</u></a></p>
