In this episode we are talking about the path to pastorship for a young man who has surrendered his life to the ministry. We talk about first steps, the ministry expectations, how to start the process and more. Our burden as young pastors is to influence other preachers who don’t know what to do or where to go, and most young preachers never enter the ministry because the lack the direction and knowledge needed to pursue that calling. Discipleship Episode 2
This is the second episode in our discussion of Discipleship. In episode one we covered an introductory clip where we talk briefly about what we think of discipleship as it is regarded in the Baptist church, our stance and views as independent baptists. We also compare and contrast discipleship v soulwinning and talk about striking the perfect balance. We talk about empowering others around us, finding the best in our church members, and focusing on strengths and weaknesses of our team to be effective at both soulwinning and discipleship. Part 2 will be a more compressive analysis and training on biblical discipleship. Enjoy.
