Dr. Meyer talks about what is missing in the work being done by the Florida Legislature, what is all too present, and what we can do to help. Here, Rev. Dr. Meyer explains that the Christian understanding of the Golden Rule and Aristotle's Golden Mean are missing in the corporate backed priorities this session and that the daemons of greed and power are all too present. </p> <p>Listen as Rev. Dr. Meyer explains how the faith-based, or spiritual, call to action this legislative session is an imperative for helping the most marginalized and oppressed in Florida. Here how he uses his own Christian faith to explain why legislators and community members need to rearrange their thinking and focus on answering the problems of poverty, education, unemployment, and despair.
