For many of us, we realize it’s impossible to have financial independence through the white supremacist personal finance model, which sometimes black people also share and profit from. Understanding that as Black people, most of us can’t ever have enough money and time independently and ethically, our path to freeing the bag must include depending on each other AND creating a new system to survive and thrive.
