農曆新年是我們傳統中最重要的節日，小時候處處充滿年味，過前年大夥大街小巷忙碌採買氣氛熱鬧濃厚，除夕圍爐、守歲、走春、回娘家、放鞭炮和領紅包等習俗都讓我們雀躍不已。 近年來年味漸減，小孩對新年的印象只剩吃年夜飯後領紅包，太無趣了。我們可以和小孩一起做些也意義的活動，像帶小孩去花市買花、去迪化街辦年貨買難吃的巧克力金元寶、讓小孩手寫春聯、佈置紅到爆的家、舉辦過年吉祥話PK賽讓領紅包時不詞窮、守歲時教小孩賭博再趁機贏光他們壓歲錢⋯⋯讓家人一起的快樂回億，滿滿新春儀式感，這樣才有意思。
