I’m <strong>Leila</strong>, and I’m on this messy, beautiful journey to live more slowly and consciously… especially when it comes to fashion and waste.</p><p>It all really began after I read a textile report that truly shook me. I couldn’t just ignore it.</p><p> And I remembered something Gandhi said:</p><p> <strong>“Be the change you want to see in the world.”</strong></p><p> I felt it. I knew I had to do something.</p><p>Then, one day, I was sitting with my friend—waiting for our kids to finish tennis class—when the owner of a yoga retreat mentioned I could join their retreat as a <strong>vendor</strong>. But, he added, “Everything you bring has to be sustainable.”</p><p> And you won’t believe it—we screamed with joy. Right there on the sidelines of the tennis court, we hugged each other like we’d just won something.</p><p> Because in that moment, I finally knew what I wanted to do.</p><p> Not accounting.
