Steal like an artist
If you are struggling with ideas for your content creation, here is how can you become an idea generation machine.
Secret #1: Understand that nothing is original
There is a quote from a French novelist Airde
"Everything that needs to be said, has already been said. But because no one was listening, it needs to be said again".
Most of the stuff you see on social media is not original. If you think it is, most of the chances are that you probably don't know about its sources.
Secret #2: Steal like an artist
There is a very good book from the writer, Austin Kleon named "Steal Like an Artist".
In this book, he talks about how can you steal artworks, piece of contents, and ideas from its original sources, legally and ethically.
Stealing doesn't mean you have to copy everything from its original sources.
Stealing simply means you need to copy ideas from others in your own niche, and add your own flavour. own personality, own voice on top that.
To apply this framework of stealing like an artist, you need to apply the coal mining technique.
What is the coal mining technique?
Actually, coal mining technique discusses that you need to go find some idea treasure, particularly Twitter, or some successful person in your niche.
You will find a lot of content and advices.
For example, if you are an entrepreneur, you go to Twitter and find some successful entrepreneurs , check their content and what are they talking about You can simply steal from their ideas.

You have to apply what you have learned
In a very calm environment, before sunset, as part of some improve-yourself challenge, that guy was reading some highlighted notes from a book that he read months ago.
For no reason, each highlighted text had a feeling like this is a new concept to this him. He was wondering why does this happen to me most of the time. Why do I forget what I read, watch, and listen to as self-help content?
When you read for the sake of reading, watch without having a big purpose, listen just to have some instant gratification. This happens. It will happen.
Reading classic wisdom through books may change your perspective towards life, update your philosophy of handing people, alter your attitude towards yourself and others. But the real magic brings fruits when you apply the wisdom in your life. When you make it routine through consistent actions.
At the start, this approach looks boring, time-consuming, having some opportunity-cost. But this is the way how can someone become a better version of himself, learn new things, create some impact in their life and their loved ones.
'You will see' is the classic mom warning like advice to their children for years in our cultures. That 'you will see' is a warning to newbies that 'if you don't follow this' you will see the consequences.
If you don't follow the advice above, practice what you learned, you will see. You will see it's impacted in a direction towards frustration and no-improvement.

They were trying to find happiness in cold weather
That was a cold night of starting January mid-night on a long road in a famous city. A noticeable difference was near about. Some buildings had got colors outside their main walls. That was weird as that was not the practiced culture in that urban area.
Two of them while walking on a street to have some relaxed time, started to conversate about this new change.
The colors were interesting, eye-catching, and engaging. Different shades of bulbs were also fixed on top of each building to increase their visibility and contrast.
That street was going to catch more business using this strategy.
Different opinions from both of those friends started to make their conversation a dilemma. One of them was thinking on the positive side of that change and some future expected good results from this. The second one was opposing the positivity of that opinion.
Delightful vibes got overcome on a negative one at the end.
Happiness makes itself apparent in a weird way, in your life. It doesn't have to do with what you are, what do you have, where you are, and what are you doing. The way you think about all of this makes the difference.
You have a car, an uber drive also have a car. The difference appears how you think about this having. This is where happiness comes out of life.
You go on vacation in a nature-gifted location with mountains, green, rain, and river. The guy who lives there already for years doesn't feel excited about this location. Where you are doesn't also make in change in the amount of happiness one feels.
The way you think, perspective you make, angle you choose makes the difference
Starting January, mid-night, cold weather, on a long road in a famous city. They were trying to find happiness.
