Ghassan Abu Khadhrah

About Ghassan Abu Khadhrah

Ghassan Abu Khadhrah, also spelled Ghassan Abu Khadra or Ghassan Abu-Khodrah, is a contemporary Quran reciter known for his murattal-style delivery in the Hafs ‘an ‘Asim riwāyah. His recorded recitations include longer chapters such as Ar-Raḥmān, Al-Mulk, Al-Hāqqah, Al-Ma‘ārij, Nūḥ, and Al-Jinn—available through respected digital Qur’anic archives. His voice is marked by gentle pacing, clear Tajwīd, and calm emotional presence, making his recitations suitable for both prayer and spiritual reflection. He frequently leads Taraweeh sessions in North American mosques and his recordings are present on platforms like IslamWeb and Quran Central.
