<p>In the episode we sit down with our Building Leaders, teens 13-18, and a youth leaders to discuss parent-child estrangement, when a parent or child cuts tries completely with or has little contact with each other with emotional distancing. We discuss the challenges and benefits in making that difficult choice to become estranged with their parent(s) and what lead up to making the difficult choice. We discuss estrangement and its relation to emotional abuse and the significant difference in rate of estranged fathers. </p>

<p>The Building Leaders Youth, teens 13-18, reflect on about their time at the mayoral and alderman forms. In this episode we discuss the candidates policy ideas, character, and over all presentation as a speaker and a candidate. We discuss many major concerns in the city of Chicago and it&#39;s surrounding neighborhoods regarding policing, schooling, crime, transit and more. They also reflect on youth political engagement, and their over all attitudes about political involvement. </p>
