Bang Amir atau Ameer Hamzah nama panjangnya adalah sosok yang sederhana. Walau wartawan senior di surat kabar terbesar di Aceh, Serambi Indonesia, namun saat itu masih setia dengan Honda Astrea800nya. Nama Bang Amir selalu menghias kolom Tafakur: renungan bagi pembaca. Ba’da sholat magrib di Mesjid Raya Baiturrahman Aceh, suara beliau hadir setiap malam Rabu. Banyak jamaah ngefans dengan Bang Amir.
