<p>Welcome to the GO DATE YOURSELF Podcast! We're Kerry &amp; Nicole - two single friends in our 30s choosing to put our relationships with ourselves first. We'll be taking ourselves on weekly self-love dates and talking about it each week, and we want YOU to join us in your own self-love journey.</p> <p>Each week we'll release a new self-date prompt - whether it's a simple coffee date, a museum date, or taking yourself to try a new activity that you have on your bucket list. Whatever it is, we believe it is important to show yourself some love, and to embrace life experiences on your own.</p> <p><strong>THE SELF DATE RULES:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Don't go to your usual spots.</strong> Try a spot in a new neighborhood to get out of your comfort zone and routine.</li> <li><strong>Don't wear headphones.</strong> Open yourself up to the opportunity to interact with the people in your environment.</li> <li><strong>Don't be glued to your phone.</strong> Better yet, put it on "do not disturb" mode for a few hours so you can live in the moment.</li> <li><strong>Get dressed!</strong> Even if you're taking yourself to a new workout class, wear your best workout outfit, style your hair, wear the perfume you'd swear you'd only use for special occasions... FEEL yourself!</li> <li><strong>Give out one compliment:</strong> Barista has a cute shade of lip gloss? The couple next to you at a cooking class has great energy? The guy at the bar sitting alone has impeccable style? TELL THEM!
