Go Think On It is a podcast that discusses current events, politics, theology, and apologetics from a Christian Worldview. Today's culture is characterized by decisions and actions driven solely by feelings and emotions. We want to slow down and process what's going on so we can consider and explore the ramifications of our actions. But we can only do that if we put our feelings aside and think.

Episode 007: Why I'm Voting for Donald Rainwater

Donald Rainwater (@rainwater4indiana) is the Libertarian candidate for Governor of Indiana, and I plan on voting for him. Being a Christian, is that ok? Should Christians vote for Donald Rainwater, especially since his views on abortion aren't 100% pro-life? In this episode, I go through his list of issues that he's posted on his website, and I spend a significant time talking about his views on abortion. In fact, I argue that with the exception of Curt Nisly (@RepCurtNisly) from Indiana's 22nd District, we have no real pro-life republicans in the General Assembly or US Congress!

So, I explain I, and Christians in general, can vote for Donald Rainwater.

#rainwater4indiana

005: The Argument from Change

In this episode, we talk about the Argument from Efficient Causality, which is the second argument for the Existence of God as laid out in Handbook of Christian Apologetics by Peter Kreeft and Ronald Tacelli. While similar to the Argument from Change, there are some nuanced differences that, to us, make all the difference as to whether this argument is a keeper, or a flop.

Episode 006: Kamala Harris and John MacArthur

In this episode, I discuss Joe Biden's running mate: Kamala Harris. Is this a good choice for him? What made him choose her? Does it help him at all? For the life of me, I can't see how this helps him; I think it actually hurts him. But I don't think the DNC cares about that, they desperately want Harris in the White House. The only thing that's in the way is Joe Biden.

Then we discuss Grace Community Church's well known lead pastor, John MacArthur, and his defiance of the government's orders for him to cease and desist gathering for worship. Is this a good idea? Many other churches are postponing church services until 2021. What are we to think about all of this?
