<p>Zorgorganisatie QuaRijn is sinds dit jaar regionaal expertisecentrum op het gebied van het syndroom van Korsakov. </p><p>Als het niet meer lukt om zelfstandig thuis te wonen, biedt QuaRijn intensieve ondersteuning, begeleiding en behandeling op een prachtige nieuwe locatie in Doorn, het Zonnehuis. </p><p>Om Korsakov tijdiger te signaleren, zodat opname niet nodig is, werkt QuaRijn sinds kort met casemanagers, die al bij mensen thuis in kaart brengen welke zorg nodig is. </p><p>Ook heeft Quarijn begin 2023 een behandelcentrum geopend in Doorn, speciaal voor mensen met Korsakov. Hier krijgen mensen behandeling en ondersteuning om langer thuis te kunnen blijven wonen. </p><p>Over de meerwaarde van de inzet van casemanagers en het nieuwe behandelcentrum praat Nathalie Koopman met Famke Leeflang, kwaliteitsverpleegkundige én casemanager én Levine van Zuidam, ggz-agoog én projectleider behandelcentrum.</p>
