Specialavsnitt: Bondeson som bondkomiker – Föredrag med Kristina Brixon och Leif Häggström
Föredrag av Kristina Brixson och Leif Häggström Sommaren 1882 gjorde August Bondeson en Sverigeturné. Han var då 28 år gammal och redan tillräckligt känd för att tidningarna under våren skulle skriva att han planerade en turné. Turnén finns väl dokumenterad i den tidens dagstidningar och ger oss en bild av nöjeslivet. Det ger oss också en möjlighet att mäta hur populär och känd Bondeson var som artist och underhållare, eller folkbildare vilket han såg sig själv som. Föredraget är en del av Hallands Kulturhistoriska Museums pågående fördjupning om August Bondeson och innehåller ny forskning kring tidigare okända delar från Bondesons liv och gärning. Kristina Brixson är etnolog och chef på samlingsavdelningen på Hallands Kulturhistoriska Museum. Hon är uppvuxen i Bondesons hemtrakter och var med och startade Bondesonsällskapet 2006. Leif Häggström är fil. doktor i arkeologi och har skrivit flera böcker om arkeologi och jaktens kulturhistoria. Han arbetar på Hallands Kulturhistoriska museum och hans intresse för Bondeson väcktes i tjänsten. Bondesondagen är ett samarrangemang mellan Hallands kulturhistoriska museum Fågelboet i Vessigebro och Bondesonsällskapet samt Vessige-Alfshögs hembygdsförening.

Specialavsnitt: Folkloristen Bondeson – Föredrag av Bengt af Klintberg
I samband med Bondesondagen och Kulturarvsdagarna 8 september 2024. Föredraget hölls i trädgården på Fågelboet, August Bondesons föräldrahem i Vessigebro. Bengt af Klintberg är folklorist och professor. Tillsammans med Christina Mattsson ledde han i femton år radioprogrammet Folkminnen i P1, Han har skrivit om August Bondeson i sagostudien Kvinnan som inte ville ha barn (2016) och introducerat en av Bondesons ”Historiegubbar på Dal” för en engelskspråkig och japansk publik. Han är känd av många för Råttan i pizzan om moderna sägner.
